Leadership Giving Societies

Get Involved and Make a Difference

Our leadership giving societies include donors who make gifts of $1,000 or more to UWCA’s annual campaign and endowment. These groups make it easy for you and your family to get involved and make a difference in Central Alabama. Membership at every level offers opportunities to address our community’s most pressing problems, engage your philanthropic spirit and help achieve your personal and professional goals. Other benefits of giving include increasing your knowledge of the innovative ways that people’s needs are being addressed in Central Alabama, building your reputation as a community leader and being recognized as a leader by your employer and United Way.

Increase the Impact of Your
Gift Through Matches

Does your employer offer matches to qualified charities or would you be interested in benefiting from matching  funds?

Community matches are available to help donors reach The Tocqueville Society and The Builder Society level for the annual campaign. These matches are existing funds that we would not have access to if donors did not take advantage of them. Contact Caroline Bolvig with our major gifts department to find out more at 205.458-2038 or cbolvig@uwca.org.

Apart from the campaign, matches are available to help donors endow their Tocqueville level gift. Contact Maggie McDonald to find out more 205.458.2025 or maggie.mcdonald@uwca.org. Don’t forget to ask your employer for fund-matching opportunities.
