UWYLS Holiday Party …with a Purpose!

Come enjoy drinks and appetizers from Steel and help us collect toys for the Children’s Hospital Sugar Plum Shop!
The Sugar Plum Shop provides parents with access to free toys and gifts during the holidays when they may feel
especially powerless about the fact that their child is spending time in the hospital.

What to bring : Unwrapped toys and presents for children ages 8 to 12!

Examples of what to bring : Board games, books, puzzles, or toys that can be used while in the hospital.

What NOT to bring : Toys with strings, video games with violence, etc.

AIDS Alabama devotes its energy and resources statewide to helping people with HIV/AIDS live healthy,
independent lives and works to prevent the spread of HIV. AIDS Alabama provides housing for those
with HIV in the Birmingham area, works to secure and administer grants for care of persons with HIV
statewide, and specializes in targeted prevention education programs. Come learn more about these
great programs!!
