Assist adoptive families with anxiety and stress, assist families of children who have experienced abuse, and help young mothers in the foster care system.
COLLAT JEWISH FAMILY SERVICES
Provides seniors with transportation and financial assistance as well as trains volunteers.
Provide support and empathy to individuals who are in crisis or need emotional support.
DISABILITIES RIGHTS AND RESOURCES
Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities, including home modifications, teach independent living skills, and job training.

Provides court advocates for victims of abuse and provides a hotline for victims of abuse to call for resources.
Provide pre-treatment services for drug/alcohol addiction while waiting to be admitted to residential treatment.

Provide and assist during the immigration process for eligible immigrants and work to meet needs or issues, including housing, legal, and employment.

Meet community needs by providing facilities for programs and meals to community center members.
Provides a secure place and resources for homeless women.

Assist individuals in critical moments and assist individual to become self-sufficient.

Assist in meeting needs of individuals or families that have had a recent crisis.
TRAVELERS AID SOCIETY OF BIRMINGHAM
Provides information and referral, counseling and financial aid services for displaced individuals and families coming into or leaving the community; and transportation to medical appointments for elderly and low-income residents.
YWCA OF CENTRAL ALABAMA
Serves the community in four primary areas: child development services for homeless children and kids in crisis, domestic violence shelter and wrap around services, affordable housing, and social justice programs for youth.
