In addition to supporting agencies in Central Alabama, United Way partners with AIDs clinics across Alabama to assist 10,000 people living with HIV/AIDs each year. For the statewide initiative, United Way receives funding from the Ryan White Program administered by the Alabama Department of Public Health and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
