A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club is one of 1140 independent and locally governed organizations of the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club is committed to empowering young people in Birmingham and surrounding communities reach their full potential through evidence-based programming developed by Boys & Girls Clubs of America and centered around four key pillars:

• Academic Success – our club provides high-quality tutoring, homework assistance, and STEM initiatives to ensure youth achieve academic proficiency, graduate on time and develop skills for post-secondary success.
• Good Character & Leadership – through mentorship, service-learning projects, and leadership development programs, AGGBGC promotes civic engagement, ethical decision-making and positive community involvement.
• Healthy Lifestyles – AGGBGC promotes physical and emotional well-being through nutrition education, our athletics programs, and mental health resources, encouraging lifelong healthy habits.
