If you’re 60 or older and live in Jefferson County, check with your nearest Senior Center to see if you qualify for meals provided by United Way’s Area Agency on Aging Senior Nutrition Program.

The United Way Area Agency on Aging (UWAAA) of Jefferson County is making a real difference in the lives of older citizens and those with disabilities.
Through our combination of highly focused programs and services, UWAAA answered more than 12,000 requests for help in 2025, directly assisting over 11,000 individuals and positively impacting countless others through senior center programs, hot meals and help with food, Medicare counseling, caregiver support, prescription drug assistance, legal services, advocacy for long-term care residents and more.
