Flu and seasonal illnesses are surging across Alabama, and schools and childcare centers are often where germs spread the fastest. To help protect our youngest learners, United Way of Central Alabama’s (UWCA) Success By 6 program is hosting a Cleaner Classrooms Supply Drive Jan 20 th through March 3
This drive collects essential cleaning and hygiene supplies to support Pre-K classrooms across Birmingham City Schools, helping create healthier learning environments for both educators and students.

Donation Drop-Off
Supply donations can be dropped off at
United Way of Central Alabama’s Alice Williams Building
3620 8th Avenue South in Birmingham
Supplies Needed:
- All-purpose spray cleaner
- Disinfectant wipes (Clorox, 75-count soft pack)
- Hand sanitizer (8-oz. size)
- Antibacterial hand soap (pump dispenser)
- Toilet tissue (Angel Soft, standard box)
- Paper towels
- Sponges (single)
- Carpet cleaner spray
