Hands On is hosting several family-friendly volunteer projects on Saturday, November 18th. Project options include:

1. Join United Way staff for Holiday Card Art projects for Children’s Hospital patients and Meals on Wheels clients. Volunteers will be making holiday-themed cards and notes for delivery during the holiday season. While we prefer the project be done on-site, families can make cards at home and drop them off during this time at the United Way of Central Alabama campus.
2. Grants Mill Trails clean-up with Cahaba River Society. Volunteers will be removing invasive plants and helping clean up the environment. The day also includes a nature walk with Cahaba River Society staff.
3. Drop off toys at United Way between 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for the Pathways Holiday Drive. Most children receiving toys will be aged infant to 10 years old. We ask that people do not buy riding toys, balls, or toy guns.
