CHILTON, ST. CLAIR & WALKER COUNTIES

COMMUNITY PROJECT GRANTS

Community Project Grants are available in each county (Chilton, St. Clair and Walker) to provide funding for short-term projects and one-time expenses that will have a positive impact on the residents of those counties.

Eligibility & Funding Details

UWCA funding can be used to support:

  1. direct costs related to the execution of programs meeting community needs -OR-
  2. one-time expenses (purchased services or goods) that will have a positive impact on the residents of Chilton, St. Clair or Walker County.
  • Grants are available to public entities, registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations and community groups.
  • Only agencies based, and providing services, in the county for which you are applying (Chilton, St. Clair or Walker) are eligible.
FUNDING AVAILABLE:

The maximum funding available is $2,500 per organization.

Community Project Grants are distributed at the discretion of the respective county’s UWCA County Advisory Board.

Application Process

  • Applications will open June 20, 2024.
  • DEADLINE TO APPLY IS JULY 26, 2024.

How to apply:

Nonprofit organizations can complete a grant application via United Way’s Grant Portal FLUXX.

If you are a first-time applicant in the new system, you will need to set up a profile to gain access.
