The United Way Area Agency on Aging (UWAAA) Long-Term Care Ombudsman program needs your help to sweeten the holidays for Boarding Home residents in Jefferson County! Home “Sweet” Home for the Holidays is an opportunity to provide a special treat to those who are not able to be with their loved ones this holiday season due to COVID-19.
Between December 21st and December 23rd, you or your organization can drop off store bought only cakes, cookies, or pies that will be distributed to Boarding Home residents to make their holidays a little sweeter. Sugar-free treats and diabetic alternatives are also needed! Please drop off treats at the UWCA Office 4th floor reception area between 8 AM-4:30 PM on Dec 21, 22, and 23.
