Join United Way Hands On, as we honor the first responders in our community for our annual 9/11 Week of Service and Remembrance. These are unprecedented times and like doctors and nurses, our first responders have been on the frontlines of this pandemic. As we support the health and well-being of our communities through physical distancing, we recognize that the desire to help others by giving back remains strong. We are asking volunteers to send kindness/thank you postcards with encouraging and thankful messages to some of the unsung heroes in our community. Help us honor the victims of 9/11 and those who rose to service in response to the attacks, by voluntarily performing at least one good deed during the week of 9/11.
