We made our fundraising goal and exceeded it because you trust United Way to continue working to improve lives and community conditions. Many of you don’t get to meet the people you will help and still you continue to support our goals and mission because you believe that we make a difference. Thank You for your continued support.
Our volunteers have already met to allocate the dollars pledged, to our agencies and programs serving Central Alabama. They will focus on education, financial stability, health and access to services- the building blocks for a good life.
This year, United Way is fortunate to have the volunteer leadership of Terry Kellogg, Board Chairman; Mark Drew, Campaign Chairman; John Turner, Pacesetter Campaign chairman along with a passionate team of company coordinators, loaned executives and campaign committee members. They are all great volunteers who spread a spirit of caring and generosity throughout the campaign.
Our theme asked you to make this “Your Finest Hour” and we asked you to also make it the finest hour for someone in need. You’ve impacted our community at its deepest level with your support and we hope you consider it, Your Finest Hour.
