Since 1900, we have worked with people with disabilities, helping them prepare for and find employment. Our consumers have a range of disabilities, from mental to physical, and many of our consumers have multiple disabilities or dual diagnoses.

Workshops’ consumers receive on-the-job training in our conveniently-located facility in the Avondale neighborhood of Birmingham. Here we cater to the needs of various business customers who rely on Workshops for business solutions that include assembly, packaging, mailing, order fulfillment, handwork for the commercial print industry or just about any other outsourcing need that requires handwork and a reliable workforce.
