For more than 98 years, our mission has been to more effectively bring together caring people to address issues within Central Alabama. We believe racism has no place in our community or our country and United Way of Central Alabama remains committed to supporting justice and racial equality. The jury’s decision against Derek Chauvin, charged with killing George Floyd last spring, gives us accountability and an awakening to a type of injustice that should not have happened.
Join us in our dedication to work together to transform Tuesday’s accountability into lasting justice for everyone.
