Since 2013, Priority Veteran, a program of United Way of Central Alabama, has helped Veterans and their families achieve housing stability and long-term financial well-being. In 2024, we expanded our services to the Florida Panhandle and opened an office in downtown Pensacola to better serve local Veterans in need.
Through funding from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) program, Priority Veteran provides intensive one-on-one case management, housing assistance and supportive services to more than 1,000 Veterans annually across Alabama and Florida. Our team is dedicated to helping Veterans secure stable housing, access benefits and build a foundation for long-term success.
