Your Support Helps Veterans Find Stability and Thrive.

Since 2013, Priority Veteran has worked alongside Veterans and their families facing homelessness or the risk of losing their housing. Through personalized case management, we help Veterans develop a housing stability plan and connect with resources such as medical and mental healthcare, Veteran benefits, employment support and financial coaching.

During the fiscal year ending September 2026, Priority Veteran served more than 1,200 Veterans——the most in its history. Behind that milestone are Veterans and families taking steps toward greater stability, with support tailored to their needs.

A Path Toward Home

Priority Veteran’s support can extend beyond an immediate housing crisis, helping Veterans build greater stability for the future.

Support Beyond Housing

A stable home is a foundation for wellbeing. Veterans may also need support with their health, finances, connections to their community and more.

Priority Veteran has received a $750,000 grant from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs through the Staff Sergeant Parker Gordon Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program. Known locally as SSG Fox, this additional service will strengthen suicide prevention support for Veterans and their families in Blount, Chilton, Jefferson, Shelby, St. Clair and Walker counties.

Our SSVF housing support continues to serve designated areas of Alabama and the Florida Panhandle. Together, these services give Veterans more ways to connect with support.
