Donate Supplies and Volunteer:
The City of Birmingham collected supplies to assist those affected by the hurricane. United Way of Central Alabama donated blankets, tents, diapers, and sleeping bags to that effort which ended on September 12. For information on other collection efforts call United Way’s 2-1-1 information and referral line.
United Way’s Hands On volunteer center also recruited volunteers to receive the donations during the city’s supply drive.
