Helping Families
United Way of Central Alabama helps homeless families or those at risk of becoming homeless find stability through financial coaching, housing stability services and resources for school-age children. Qualified families work with United Way case managers to set goals and receive access to resources to move them toward family stability.
Depending on a family’s specific needs, service coordination may include:
Case management- Goal development
- Information and referrals
- Money management and budgeting assistance
- Housing counseling
- Assistance with school-related issues
