United Way of Central Alabama was recently recognized for its transparency with a 2018 Gold Seal on our GuideStar Nonprofit Profile.
In order to get the 2018 Gold Seal, United Way of Central Alabama shared important information with the public. Now community members and potential donors can find in-depth information about our goals, strategies, capabilities, and progress. Basic organization information, such as contacts, organization leadership, board leadership, and programs, as well as financial transparency, including an audited financial statement, revenue, and expenses, were also shared by UWCA to achieve Gold Seal status.
This honor puts us in a select group of high performing charities,” said Drew Langloh, President and CEO. “It is our hope that this gold status will give donors greater confidence in their United Way charitable support.”
