United Way of Central Alabama’s Pacesetter Campaign Surpasses Lofty Goal

United Way of Central Alabama’s (UWCA) Pacesetter Campaign is designed to jumpstart donations to the annual fall campaign and this year’s effort came through with flying colors. Having set a lofty goal of $10.5 million for the summer fundraiser, Bill Connor, President and CEO of AmFirst Credit Union, served as this year’s Pacesetter Chair and led his team to go above and beyond, raising a total of $10,647,653.

All of us at UWCA extend our sincere thanks to Bill as well as Loaned Executives Cleo Crawford and Lizzie French and each of the following companies that stepped up to lead the way, set the pace — and set the example — for giving within our community. The work that United Way and our partner agencies do would not be possible without changemakers like you!
