In honor of Women’s History Month, United Way Hands On, Women United and United Way of Central Alabama are launching our third annual Period Supply Drive. From March 9th through 27th, you can help by donating period supplies to ensure every individual has access to the essentials they need.
Presented by the Alabama Department of Mental Health, this free workshop will help individuals and families better understand Social Security benefits, SSI, SSDI, employment impacts, and available resources. Dinner is provided, but seating is limited. Please encourage anyone with questions about benefits and employment to attend.
