Join United Way Hands On for our annual Back-to-School campaign, supporting local students and schools as they prepare for a new academic year! From July 7–25, 2025, community members can donate backpacks and school supplies to help ensure every student starts the year ready to learn.
Roll up your sleeves and help local students start the year strong! During Back-to-School Beautification Week, United Way Hands On will lead volunteer projects at schools across our region—planting flowers, painting classrooms, cleaning playgrounds, and more. It’s a great opportunity to make a visible difference before the first day of school.

Through “Home Sweet Home for the Holidays,” we’re asking individuals, community groups, and businesses to donate store-bought cakes, cookies, pies, and other desserts to brighten celebrations and remind residents they’re not forgotten.
